Project Phyrixx is a community initiative created to support individuals affected by suicide loss, grief, mental health challenges, and personal recovery.

Through tattooing, art, and community connection, Project Phyrixx provides meaningful opportunities for remembrance, resilience, healing, and hope.

  • Project Phyrixx was founded on the belief that tattoos can hold meaning beyond ink.

    For many people, a tattoo represents: Survival, Recovery, Remembrance, Growth, Hope or New Beginnings

    Project Phyrixx welcomes individuals whose lives have been impacted by: Suicide loss, Grief and loss, Mental health struggles, Self-harm recovery, Significant life challenges and personal transformation

    You do not need to justify your experience or share every detail of your story to participate. Your experience matters, and you are welcome here.

  • FREE TATTOO RAFFLE

    Every other month, Project Phyrixx selects a limited number of recipients through a random raffle process.

    Selected recipients receive:

    • One artist-approved tattoo
    • Maximum size of 4 inches by 4 inches
    • Moderate shading and/or color when appropriate
    • Placement on arms or legs only

    Artists are assigned based on availability, scheduling, and design fit.

    Applicants are encouraged to share a brief description of what the tattoo represents to them. This information helps artists create a more meaningful design experience. Sharing personal details beyond what you are comfortable providing is always optional.

    Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.

  • The Project Phyrixx Healing Flash Collection is available year-round through Spark Project Collective.

    The collection features artwork inspired by:

    • Healing
    • Resilience
    • Transformation
    • Remembrance
    • Hope

    Healing Flash tattoos are available outside of Project Phyrixx event dates for $50 each and are subject to artist availability and standard shop policies.

  • Do I need to share my personal story?

    No. Applicants are only encouraged to provide enough information to help the artist understand the meaning behind the tattoo. Sharing additional personal details is completely optional.

    How are recipients selected?

    Recipients are selected through a random raffle process from eligible applications.

    Can I request a custom design?

    Yes. Designs may be customized within Project Phyrixx program limitations and must be approved by the assigned artist.

    Can I request a specific artist?

    No. Artists are assigned based on availability, scheduling, and design fit.

    Do I need to be a previous Spark Project Collective client?

    No. Anyone meeting the eligibility requirements may apply.

    What if I am not selected?

    You are encouraged to apply again during future Project Phyrixx events. You may also book a design from the Healing Flash Collection year-round through Spark Project Collective.

    Is Project Phyrixx a mental health treatment program?

    No. Project Phyrixx is a community support initiative centered around art, expression, and connection. It is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency services.

    TATTOO SCOPE

    Free Project Phyrixx tattoos are limited to:

    • One tattoo per selected recipient
    • Maximum size of 4 inches by 4 inches
    • Moderate shading and/or color at artist discretion
    • Placement on arms or legs only
    • Artist-approved artwork

    All designs must be approved by the assigned artist.

    NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PROJECT PHYRIXX

    The following are not eligible for free Project Phyrixx tattoo sessions:

    • Portraits
    • Realism
    • Cover-ups
    • Tattoo reworks or touch-ups
    • Large-scale custom projects
    • Sleeves or half sleeves
    • Multi-session tattoos
    • Extensive scar coverage projects
    • Hand, finger, face, neck, or head tattoos
    • Designs requiring specialized medical consideration
    • Any design deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or outside program limitations

    Designs may be simplified, modified, or declined to fit program guidelines.

    ARTIST DISCRETION

    Participating artists reserve the right to:

    • Modify designs for tattooability and longevity
    • Recommend size or placement adjustments
    • Decline requests outside program limitations
    • Recommend alternative design approaches

    Artist decisions regarding design approval and eligibility are final.

    WINNER SELECTION

    Recipients are selected through a random raffle process from eligible applications.

    Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.

    Project Phyrixx, Spark Project Collective, participating artists, volunteers, and affiliates are not responsible for any expectation of selection or future participation opportunities.

    SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

    Selected recipients must respond within the timeframe provided in their notification.

    Failure to respond within the designated timeframe may result in forfeiture of the appointment and selection of an alternate recipient.

    AGE REQUIREMENTS

    Participants must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid government-issued photo identification at the time of their appointment.

    No exceptions.

    HEALTH AND SAFETY

    All standard Spark Project Collective policies remain in effect.

    Artists reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, or decline services if a participant:

    • Appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol
    • Appears impaired or unable to provide informed consent
    • Presents health or safety concerns
    • Has a medical condition that may interfere with safe tattooing
    • Is experiencing an immediate mental health crisis or emergency

    Project Phyrixx is not a medical, psychological, therapeutic, or crisis intervention service.

    No therapeutic, counseling, medical, or mental health provider relationship is created through participation in Project Phyrixx.

    PROGRAM AVAILABILITY

    Project Phyrixx is a volunteer-supported community initiative.

    Event dates, participating artists, appointment availability, program guidelines, and offerings may change without notice.

    Spark Project Collective does not guarantee future event dates, artist participation, appointment availability, design approval, or continued operation of the program.

    PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA RELEASE

    Participants may be invited to allow photographs or videos of completed tattoos for educational, promotional, archival, or marketing purposes.

    Granting permission is entirely voluntary and will not impact eligibility, selection, or participation.

    Separate media consent may be requested when applicable.

    HEALING FLASH COLLECTION

    Healing Flash Collection tattoos are separate from the free tattoo raffle program.

    Healing Flash tattoos are subject to standard booking procedures, artist availability, pricing, and shop policies.

    Healing Flash tattoos are not free unless specifically stated during a Project Phyrixx event or promotion.

  • Project Phyrixx and Spark Project Collective are community support initiatives intended to promote healing, self-expression, and connection through art.

    Project Phyrixx, Spark Project Collective, participating artists, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and representatives do not provide medical care, psychological treatment, psychiatric services, counseling, crisis intervention, therapy, diagnosis, or mental health treatment of any kind.

    Participation in Project Phyrixx does not create a therapist-client relationship, counselor-client relationship, healthcare provider relationship, or any other professional treatment relationship.

    Participants acknowledge that tattoos, artistic expression, conversations, community engagement, and related activities may evoke emotional responses. Each participant is solely responsible for their own mental, emotional, and physical well-being before, during, and after participation.

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spark Project Collective, Project Phyrixx, participating artists, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any emotional distress, psychological injury, mental health condition, relapse, emotional response, crisis, self-harm, suicidal ideation, or other mental health-related outcome that may occur before, during, or after participation in the program.

    Individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, emergency, suicidal thoughts, or risk of harm to themselves or others should immediately contact 911, call or text 988, or seek assistance from a qualified healthcare professional or emergency service provider.

    Participation in Project Phyrixx is voluntary and undertaken at the participant's own discretion and risk.

  • All tattoo services provided through Project Phyrixx are subject to the same professional standards, policies, procedures, health requirements, and consent requirements applicable to all tattoo services performed by participating artists.

    Participants acknowledge that tattooing carries inherent risks, including but not limited to pain, discomfort, allergic reactions, skin irritation, infection, dissatisfaction with design outcomes, variations in healing, scarring, pigment changes, fading, migration of ink, and other known or unknown complications.

    Participants are responsible for following all aftercare instructions provided by their artist. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect healing results and increase the risk of complications.

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spark Project Collective, Project Phyrixx, participating artists, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, sponsors, and representatives shall not be liable for complications, injuries, adverse reactions, dissatisfaction with artistic outcomes, healing complications, emotional reactions to tattoo content, or any damages arising from participation in the program, except where prohibited by applicable law.

    Participants acknowledge that artistic interpretation, design modifications, placement recommendations, and tattoo execution remain within the professional discretion of the assigned artist.

    No guarantee is made regarding specific artistic outcomes, healing results, personal satisfaction, emotional impact, or future appearance of any tattoo.

    By participating in Project Phyrixx, applicants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Spark Project Collective, Project Phyrixx, participating artists, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, sponsors, and representatives from any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from participation in the program, except where such release is prohibited by law.

  • By submitting an application, participants acknowledge and agree that:

    • Submission does not guarantee selection
    • Design approval remains at artist discretion
    • Participation is voluntary
    • Project Phyrixx is not a mental health treatment program
    • Standard Spark Project Collective policies apply
    • Information submitted may be reviewed solely for program administration purposes
    • Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information
    • Project Phyrixx reserves the right to modify program guidelines when necessary
